Another Beautiful Day

And, naturally, a good looking model:

Living the Life

While I was working a twelve hour day yesterday, Patrick spent the day outside.  Here he is in his wagon, a Christmas gift from his Aunt Jacky.

Patrick's Entourage

This week, Patrick's school is celebrating the Week of the Young Child.  When I walked him to his classroom on Monday morning, this new bulletin board was up.  I nearly peed my pants when I found my son on it.  What do you think?

This Is What I Do on Saturday Nights Now...

And I wouldn't want it any other way.

Patrick's video at 18 months.  Again, I'm a day early.

I can't believe my baby is *already* 18 months old.  A year and a half.  Where does the time go?

Patrick spent a few days over at his Grandma's house while Mike and I took two days to visit the Sin City of the East Coast.  When we picked him up earlier today, my mother-in-law's house looked like it had been hit by a tornado.  A tornado named Patrick.  She claims he was great - he even helped her put clothes in the dryer.  But I spoke to her later in the day, once we were home and she confessed to me:  I'm tired.  Hehe.  Patrick has certainly turned into everything Mike and I thought he would be.  And so much more.  His smile lights up the room.  When he lets you see it, that is.  Usually, he's running past you, trying to figure out what to get his hands into next.  :)

Enjoy!

Salesman of the Month

Spring has arrived, Easter has come and gone and we've been busy.  Almost too busy to take pictures, but I did manage to get some on Easter Sunday.  We spent the day at Grandma's house, where Patrick got lots of goodies and even more attention.  Because he's always on the go, we only managed to get a handful of shots.

"Before I start the meeting, let's see what the Easter bunny brought me.  Hmmm, applesauce."

IMG_6301

"Puffs!!"

IMG_6302

"An apple?  This is the healthiest Easter bunny I've never met!"

IMG_6310

"I'm heading to my meeting.  Where's my briefcase?"

IMG_6315

"Oh wait!  What's that?"

IMG_6319

"Little People!"

IMG_6322

"Okay, let's get this meeting started."

IMG_6323

"First order of business:  this car.  It's purple.  Is it for girls or boys?  Grandma bought it for me, but she also bought me pink ears last year for Easter.  I'm not sure..."

IMG_6324

"I say, 'let's get rid of it!'"

"Now Ryan, let's work this out like two grown men."

The Spring Projects (in progress)!

The last few weeks, we've been doing some major spring cleaning around the house.  First a new fence, some digging for a well, and tons of cleaning inside the house as well.

Our last major project before the summer started earlier this week.  Pavers!  Over 200 square feet of my walkway and rear yard was dug up and when I got home from work today, this is what I found:

Obviously, there is still more to be done, but I am thrilled.  I have been so used to coming home to ugly slate and dirt.  I can't wait until it's completely finished.

And, of course, I couldn't finish a post without posting pictures of our latest houseguest:  Batman!

Yes, even Batman loses his pants every once in awhile!
