Trick or Treat!

Headed out to the local shopping center for some early trick or treating...

Heading out.  He practiced his "Happy Halloween" and "Trick or Treat" the entire way.

Determined to find some good candy.

Even the sheriff needs to rest sometimes.

Eating a lollipop while on his beat.

A rare photo with Momma.

Begging, yes begging, for more candy.

Patrick and the Parade of Costumes

I can't help it; it was awesome and adorable.  The kids were well-behaved, they had an "after party", no one cried, no one went running to their parents.  I wonder what those teachers say and do to make the kids so well-behaved.

Some photos to enjoy:

Classmate Phinnlei

Classmate Tommy

Here he comes, walking in the parade!

Woody!

Buzz!

The baby class!

Neighbor!

Back for a second loop around the school.

More babies!

The after-party.

Lots of treats.

He had cheetos, raisins, cookies, muffins, string cheese,  juice.

There's Jessie a few seats down.

In order to get more juice, he raised his hand and asked for more.

Happy kid.

He didn't want the party to end.

Visit to the State Fair for Birthday Celebrations

The State Fair.  It's here for ten days.  It will always be in town during Patrick's birthday.  What a better way to spend your birthday, right?

That's him up there, leading the pack.

No day would be complete without a slide!

Pony ride

Pony ride on "Shadow," although Patrick insists his name was Bullseye.

He's such a big boy, riding alone.

He loved this train.

The dizzy dragon.

Lunch consisted of half a hamburger, corn on the cob and a bottle of water.

The Birthday Boy

How did this happen?  Another year gone by and my baby is three years old.  THREE.  YEARS.  OLD.

Happy birthday, son.  Momma loves you more than you can imagine.

It's a Celebration!

This afternoon, we celebrated Patrick's birthday with the neighborhood kids.  Everyone had a great time...
The theme was "Toy Story", naturally.

A lady grabbed the last "Pin the Badge on the Sheriff" so I had to settle on buying this...

The goodie bags...

The plates and napkins...

The prizes...

Game in action...

Even Patrick got in on the action...

Musical chairs, or in our case, "Musical plates"...

The played to Culture Club, except they didn't know who Boy George was...

The Patrick mini-cake...

The birthday boy!

Guests...

More guests...

And even more guests...

One day, he won't believe he got to sit next to two girls at the same party...

More neighbors...

Outside playing ball...

Opening presents...

Thanking everyone for his gifts...

The final donkey...

The demolished cake...

The eaten cupcakes...

I'd venture to say it was a fun-filled party!
