I had a conversation the other day with someone about motivation. "I'm just not motivated to do anything," she told me. And I said, "Well, you're too young to not be motivated."
Of course, hours later, I was still thinking about it. I consider myself to be a motivated person - I keep my son clean, my family fed, my house clean. But there are times, especially when it comes to myself, where my motivation tapers off. I "forget" to do things for myself. I get "tired" and want to veg out.
And so, in light of the new year, I am jumping on the motivation bandwagon: I am going to carve time out for myself. I decided to take Zumba lessons. All motivated, I checked when the classes were held and decided that the Tuesday evening time slot worked for me. I called this morning to reserve my spot, and the class is postponed until next week. What the what? I haven't even started and already, it's not working out. Oh yeah, I could think that, but I won't. I plan on taking out my Wii Fit, dusting it off and having some fun on it tonight hula hooping.
Let's get motivated, people!

I certainly glad that you are

Good attitude!
Motivation? You want motivation? I got yer motivation right here, missy.
*sigh* I'm just so tired all the time these days. *sigh*
And what's this - from the wiki page you referenced: "Zumba is a fitness program inspired by Latin dance. It was founded by Miami-based dancer and choreographer Alberto 'Beto' Perez and two local entrepreneurs: Alberto Perlman and Alberto Aghion."
Why didn't they just name it The Alberto Dance or The Alberto? I mean, really.
Great Blog!!
