Easter Egg Hunt, Take 1

Our community Easter egg hunt (Please note this is a few hours before the tornado touched down, so it's a bit grey and windy):

First hunt ever.  He got the hang of it quickly enough.

Not too many eggs to be found

Heading back, only a few eggs in the basket.

The Stuff I Don't Want to Forget

Last night, after an especially challenging bed time, I asked Patrick, "when are you going to start behaving?" He answered, "Monday." So I said, "Today is Monday." And he said, "Okay. Now. Good night!"

Backyard Projects, continued

Mike spent an entire weekend building raised garden beds for me.  We are planning a garden, which I started today, with sunflowers, pumpkins, tomatoes, onions, peppers etc.

Four raised beds, built by Mike

I started planting today - marigolds, onions, sunflowers, pumpkins, and a small squash plant.

More sunflowers, planted by Patrick and I

L-R, Patrick's sunflower from school, lettuce, and last year's oregano
